Wendy Yang is the co-founder of this platform and a traveler dedicated to food- and culture-led exploration. Her work stems from years of immersive, firsthand experience around the world, building direct connections with local communities through cooking classes, traditional crafts, and everyday cultural practices.

In Okinawa, Japan, Wendy went out to sea with local fishermen and made sashimi from the day's catch upon return. In Jingdezhen, China—the historic heart of Chinese porcelain—she spent significant time learning the full ceramic-making process, studying under master artisans, exploring local markets, and training alongside young apprentices to understand the craft from the inside.

As a traveler drawn to solo journeys and city exploration, Wendy is attracted to the quieter layers of a city—family-run shops, neighborhood restaurants, and spaces known primarily to locals. These experiences have shaped her philosophy of travel design.

The journeys Wendy creates are highly original, deeply rooted in place, and carefully tailored. Her focus is on delivering refined, customized experiences that offer rare access, cultural depth, and lasting meaning—where travel is defined not by where you go, but by how you arrive.

Celine Wu is the co-founder of this platform and an experience-driven traveler focused on outdoor exploration and journey design. She has traveled to 25 countries, drawn to movement-based travel—hiking, being in nature, and physical engagement that creates a more direct connection with place.

Before founding the company, Celine worked at a leading luxury travel firm in London, where she built deep expertise in high-end itinerary design and service delivery. Her role involved sourcing exceptional local partners, managing complex logistics, and delivering seamless, detail-focused experiences for discerning clients. Living abroad further shaped her ambition to introduce international travelers to the more immersive, dynamic side of China—beyond the conventional highlights.

Celine is passionate about building connection through shared adventure. In London, she founded a hiking community that brings people together through nature and collective exploration. On the water, she is equally at ease—extending trips for the perfect sunset or a chance encounter with dolphins—and she is an avid windsurfer, drawn to the freedom, focus, and flow between wind and wave.
